What we collect

Beerify collects the following information when you use the app:

• Email address and display name (for your account)
• Beverage logs you create (name, serving size, type, ABV, venue, timestamps)
• Friend connections you establish via invite codes

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to provide the Beerify experience:

• Display your drink history and personal discovery stats
• Share your activity with friends you have added
• Sync your data across devices via our cloud service

Data storage

Your data is stored in two places:

• Locally on your device (SQLite database) for offline access
• On our cloud servers (Supabase, hosted in the EU) for sync and backup

Data is transmitted securely over HTTPS.

Crash & error reporting

We use Sentry, a third-party error-tracking service, to help us identify and fix problems in the app. When a crash or error occurs, the following data may be sent to Sentry:

• Device model and operating system version
• App version and build number
• Error messages and stack traces

No personally identifiable information (such as your email, name, or IP address) is included in crash reports. For more information, see Sentry's privacy policy.

Third-party sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. Your beverage logs and friend connections are only visible to you and the friends you have added.

Crash and error data is processed by Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) solely for the purpose of improving app stability. No personal data is included in these reports.

Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. See our account deletion page for instructions.
